Insurance isn’t just a career for Daniel Bentson—it’s a family legacy. Daniel’s roots in the industry date back to 1948, when his paternal grandfather established his own agency in Staten Island. With his maternal grandmother also owning and operating her own successful agency, and his parents meeting while attending the College of Insurance in Downtown Manhattan, Daniel often jokes that he never stood a chance of doing anything else.

Daniel officially entered the insurance world in 2008, spending a decade building deep market expertise and mastering complex risk management before founding Home Insurance Agency in April 2018.

Today, Daniel leads the agency on the foundational, old-school principles passed down through generations of his family: real human connection, uncompromising integrity, and a commitment to prompt, dependable service. Under his leadership, Home Insurance Agency takes pride in doing the simple things exceptionally well—picking up the phone, providing fast answers, and advocating for clients when it matters most.
